Brand Identity

I was commissioned to rebrand the identity for the Railway Safety Commission (RSC) when it became the Commission of Railway Regulation (CRR).

As the CRR represents Ireland on a both a national and European platform, I wanted to incorporate the Gaelic translation of the logo to give importance to the native Irish language. This also allowed me to graphically mirror the railway tracks, creating a structured and engineered look and feel.

The choice of a bold geometric sans serif typeface instils an element of safety, reliability and confidence in the the brand.
